All insects we sell are naturally preserved. We do our best to collect the specimens from sustainable sources.
Collecting mounted insects, like beetles and butterflies, is an interesting hobby. And can easily spin out of control, since there are more than a million species of insects to collect.
Most collectors start by buying every species they like to see. But after a while almost everybody will choose a specialization. Like Bird-wing butterflies or Rhinoceros beetles.
Because of the abundance of species there will always be a group of insects that speak to you.
What you do need to know is that preserved insects are very fragile and can break like a dried tree leaf.
Because of the fragile nature off our products we don’t send the specimens by mail. So you have to collect your order at our home address in Zoetermeer, The Netherlands. You can also visit us at one off the fairs where we will present ourselves.
All species are NON-CITES unless mentioned otherwise.
The list off species changes quickly. Therefore it is not possible for us to show all species offered on this website. If you have special requests for species, colours or sizes please let us know.
Insect pins, Label pins, foam, display boxes and Napthaline can be send by mail to you. Please see our sales agreements.

If you keep these points in mind your collection can last for years and years. Some museums have specimens preserved this way for more than a hundredby MBur
